Hearts Of Fire/ movie (1987) Hearts of Fire is a 1987 American film starring Bob Dylan, Fiona and Rupert Everett. The film was essentially a vehicle for Dylan based on his success as a rock musician. It's pretty great to know another his work which I didn't know! =) From Beachboard Vintage Reb video-Hearts of Fire movie with Fiona November 20 2013 at 11:18 AM Hey guys, Maybe this is already known, but I was looking around youtube for Fiona videos (always liked her and I heard she has some new stuff coming out) and I found a video from her movie "Hearts of Fire" with Bob Dylan. I had read somewhere that Reb played a band member in the movie and surprise there he is playing to her left on stage. Cool to find something so vintage. Hey Reb you were rocking that mullet-cute but I still like the curls better :) Sorry if for some reason I am wrong and this is not Reb- but it looks just like him. I know he did play on her Beyond the Pale album. I enjoyed seeing this-hope you all do too. There are a few different videos posted, but the one that shows a lot of movie sceens, the one with the helicopter wizzing by is, I think a Reb guitar solo, as he is featured when it goes back to the band sceen. It was so bad that the director was murdered in his apartment a few weeks after it's release. He also directed " Return of the Jedi ". Bob Dylan called me " Whammy bar" the whole time.
