WHITESNAKE have finalized and confirmed their 2003 touring lineup.
Vocals : David Coverdale
Drums : Tommy Aldridge (OZZY OSBOURNE, THIN LIZZY)
Guitar : Doug Aldrich (DIO, LION, BURNING RAIN)
Guitar : Reb Beach (WINGER, ALICE COOPER, DOKKEN)
Bass : Marco Mendoza (TED NUGENT, THIN LIZZY)
Keyboards : Timothy Drury (EAGLES, DON HENLEY)
The band will make their live debut as part of a three-band North American
package.
also featuring THE SCORPIONS and DOKKEN beginning in late January.
European dates will follow in the spring.
David Caverdale stated via his officeial web site;
"I personally couldn't ask for a more charming bunch o' exceptional
players/singers... and genuinely NICE people,
with whom I will be honored to perform an agreeable assortment of WHITESNAKE
music all over this wonderful world of ours,". "Rehearsals will
commence on January 2nd 2003, 10:00 a.m. prompt in L.A., California...
and the 'mmm...Nice Package Tour' ...will begin in Jacksonville, Florida
on January 29th, 2003...
WHITESNAKE will be co-headlining with the very excellent SCORPIONS... and

I have a DVD of Yngwie from Young Guitar Magazine, and I gotta tell ya,
that guy is probably the best electric guitarist I have ever seen. It really
got me off. I'm actually trying to learn his jaw dropping technique. He
just sits down and wails for like an hour, making it up as he goes along,
and it sounds like Mozart. He is just fargin Beautiful man!

Hello
everyone,
I am home and my studio is a mess. I had planned on getting right to work,
but I have to clean first, and I don't feel like it. I thought I would just
tell everyone thanks!!!! Really THANKS ALOT!!!!!! I was so glad to meet all
of you, and your support on the tour was so satisfying and dear to me. I am
sorry I couldn't get some of you in. Passes were tight on this tour, but
Winger's aftershows were not exactly jumping with zing either, so you didn't
miss much. I taught Kip poker, so I won some money off him, which drove him
insane. The tour brought all of us MUCH closer together, especially me and
Kip. Being on stage with such an ensemble was a thrill ride every night. I am
hoping like crazy for the October dates to happen. I am booking dates for the
Project in September, and may have found a singer that all of you know, lives
pretty close, and sings his ass off. If he joins me, I will form a new band.
I am going to Nashville to write with some other artists in September as
well.
The directer of the Inst. Vid says he is still in the editing room, and
should have a ruff for me in a few days. HE says it is hysterically funny. I
don't even remember making it. He is a fan who had the idea to come to my
home with a crew and get " the Real Me" on film. I told him to
bring a case of beer. There is a section on drinking and playing, where one
can see many fine examples. No wait, that's basically the whole thing. Ok,
there should be other stuff about guitars in there somewhere. I just haven't
seen it yet, so I don't know. Pumped, are we? Let's see, I remember filming
the backs and fronts of my heads and talking about the mods that were done. I
wrote a little ditty that I jam too. I talk about floyds and writing and
soloing. There should be some live stuff from Pirates cove. Hell, maybe it's
good like he says!!! As soon as I see it, I will tell ya if I need help with
the name. Right now I'm thinkin REB BEACH......HAMMERED!
I am changing the sound bytes of Masquerade to better ones. If there is a
section you think is a cool representation, please let me know here. I need
one with a cool vocal. I am sure no one has noticed, but we actually sold out
of Masquerade, and it won't be availible till maybe the end of this week. The
version we are getting I think is a much punchier version. It is the best
from the Japanese master and the Europe Master. I like it alot better. I will
go to Mighty Dave Fair's in the next few days to update the site. I love the
new chat room, Jean.
My goal for today was to learn to starve myself again, because it's only been
a few days of Deb, and I am having nightmares of becoming pear shaped. I did
not achieve that goal, as today was spaghetti day. Tomorrow no doubt will be
Fried Chicken with beefstick and pot stickers day....with peanuts.
If anyone finds a good deal on a Honda CRV, I am finally in the market. Have

I'm Here!!!! Jeez, it's been too long
Well,
I finally got this Hunk of junk laptop working, and come to find all these
great reviews of the shows! Thanks so much to everyone who posted while I was
offline lo these many weeks! I will have more time to respond to your
questions on the day off tomorrow. From now on I will be able to come here
and respond on the days off.
As far as how it is going out here, I have to say that I have never laughed
so much in my life. We all get along so well, and the music is really BIG and
tight,with so many talented rock veterans in the band. I tried coloring my
hair more blond and screwed it up entirely. It is now frizzed out into
poofsville so I really fit well in this hair band now.HAHA! I may have to cut
it off. I don't know, I wouldn't feel right unless my hair was long. I mean a
show just isn't the same without me gagging on it, or pulling it from my
string tree. Enough about hair..sorry. I'm havin a ball with the guys,
though, and all your kind words mean alot.I'll be back tomorrow to try and
answer some of this stuff with my 26k modem...ugh. All the best!

finally have them, and they look GREAT! The ones I got originally were so
horrible looking that I had to find a new company to redo them.Here is a good

My Crazy Peeps!
I have booked a gig at Pirates Cove ( five minutes from my house)and will
perform stuff from Masquerade, as well as some Dokken and Winger, all with me
singing(Doh!) It will be the same band that is on the record. The Winger
thing is pretty much in the can for this summer, and I can announce it as
soon as I get the green light from Kip.
In other news, I am filming a new instructional video next weekend, to be
sold on the website. It will be done in my home with explanations about my
tone, touring,tapping, drinking, recording etc.. It will also have some live
performances from the show on the 15th, and posssibly some RBP stuff from
Rosebuds..
There was a major screw up with the artwork on the up coming release of
Masquerade in Europe ( Feb 12th?).As some of you already know, Day of the
Eagle was printed on the first pressings, and it is not on the record. My
goal is still to have Masquerade availible here by the end of the month, and
will know if that is possible this weekend. I am getting a funky vibe from
the art dept. Have a great weekend!
